Breastfeeding was a challenge after my son spent his first 3 weeks in NICU being bottle fed. When I brought him home, we struggled with nursing. When I saw a lactation consultant and used this pillow, it made a huge difference in comfort and ease. I bought one immediately and have been able to successfully breastfeed in bed, on the couch, in a chair with this pillow. It makes it so easy for my baby to get into position and he's so comfortable while feeding. I also love that when milk spills or he spits up, you can easily wipe it clean and sanitize without needing to wash the cover.
If your not using a breastfeeding pillow that clips your missing out this one is also really easy to clean off when you have spit up or blow outs! Plus size? The hospital I delivered at had this pillow to support me while breast feeding. I 100% recommend everyone getting one of this new parents and parents who are doing it again! It offers the support you need for baby to latch, the buckle is nice to keep it secured to your body and it has a nice back rest as well. The "fabric" is comfortable and easy to wipe clean.
Saw this version of the my Brest Friend at my lactation consultant's office and had to get it for myself. It has a waterproof cover so less worrying about getting the foam dirty and easy to clean.

My pediatrician offers mom’s in need lactation appointments with a specialist. I needed guidance. My Brest Friend was what was in office and I used when she was helping me! It’s so helpful due to its firmness and the fact it wraps around you. Very helpful.
My pediatrician's lactation nurse has this pillow in their office. It works better than the mom cozy pillow I bought. It's very firm and has a water proof cover that you can wipe clean. It also has little raised parts on the pillow, which I think is for baby's comfort? If you are new at breast feeding this works better than the soft pillows when feeding in cross-cradle or cradle positions.
I tried a few nursing boppie pillows, but this by far is the most comfortable and useful nursing pillow ever. Thanks to the lactation clinic for recommending I get one like they have in the clinic here on Amazon. I use it every feeding.
It’s really easy to use. We didn’t know about this till we went to the lactation consultant. It helped with football hold and holding her normally when focused on latching. It’s comfortable. We call it a floatation device as that’s what it feels like. We wanted this version without any fabric and what not for the ease of cleaning. It’s really good quality. It helped me getting my bearings again for second time breastfeeding.
Really helps when baby is really small so you don't have to strain to bring him up to your breast to nurse!! I'm able to be a little more handsfree with it. I love the wipe clean so you don't have to worry about washing.

This pillow is my breast’s best friend. I’ve tried different brand before and it was too high and not flat enough. I like that this one has waterproof cover, it’s wide enough and flat for baby to lay on her back and it also has a good back support for mama’s sore back
This is the best nursing pillow ever! Discovered it with my third baby per recommendation from the lactation consultant and will never use my boppy again!
Had older version with higher back and more sturdy waterproof cover. Part stitching came apart within could months. Still useable. Would buy again as super helpful for breastfeeding, but sad they had to make some changes to a great product. I would recommend putting receiving blanket on top as sometimes material feels cold on skin.
Was recommended by my lactation consultant at our 1 week checkup with our little girl. They had them in the office and I originally bought the boppy but I had a c section and the boppy set awkwardly on my incision where this clips right above it and give the perfect placement and alignment for your baby too!

I wish someone would have told me to put this on my registry instead of a Boppy! I only heard of it 1 month into my breastfeeding struggles. It is by far the best thing I have purchased to help with BF. I purchased this version so I could clean it easily. It does get a little sweaty in the summer, but that is my only complaint! Love love love this item!

I rarely write reviews but I'll write one for this. My lactation doctor used this at her office and I instantly fell in love. Breastfeeding can be hard. It's particularly tough with a newborn. Their tiny mouths make it difficult to get a good latch, which results in discomfort for mom and poor feeding habits for baby. Having a good support pillow is crucial.The boppy seems to be everywhere, but this pillow? It works 1000x better. Its flat foam surface means baby isn't rolling off, the shape of the pillow and buckle provide support to both mom and baby, and overall it just helps you get a good latch. I tried the boppy once and then ordered two of these. I ordered a third for my sister, who's on baby #2 and had never used one. She loved it.I disagree with the reviewer who said the nylon cover is uncomfortable, by the way. I have this one and another covered with the cloth fabric. They both are comfortable. This is better, though, because the cover doesn't need to be washed when baby spits up or you leak or, heaven forbid, a diaper leaks. You just wipe it down and you're done. I ended up scotchguarding the other pillow to keep stains from soaking into the foam. If price is an issue, use Amazon warehouse to buy a returned one, but I recommend this model over the others for ease of cleaning.
I've tried so many different breastfeeding pillows and this is the BEST!!! It's so comfortable and saved my back. I also love that you can strap it on so if you want to put it on and get it situated and then go grab your baby, you can do so. It's my favorite baby-related item and a must have!!!!
Got this for my wife. She was using a boppy pillow, this is way better. She loves it, baby is confortable on it. Does its job very well, worth the money. When she no longer needs it, will make a fine gift for a friend.
